This policy explains what TechWilla collects when you read the site or use the contact form, how optional analytics work, how long data is kept, and how to make a privacy request.
What is collected
Contact form. When you send a message, the site receives the name, email address, subject and message you enter.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you allow analytics, your browser loads Google Analytics 4 and sends this site a first-party page-view record containing the page address, referring page, browser user-agent string, device category and a masked IP address. Masking reduces precision; it does not guarantee anonymity. Google Analytics also processes usage and device information and may store analytics cookies or identifiers in your browser. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy. Without that consent, analytics don’t load and the site’s server discards page-view records.
Server logs. The web server keeps access and error logs for security.
Consent
Optional analytics are off until you choose otherwise. The Privacy choices panel lets you allow or reject analytics. The Privacy settings button and the privacy-choice link in the footer let you change your choice later. Withdrawing consent disables further Google Analytics collection on the page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, optional processing stays off. Advertising is disabled in this release.
Browser storage
The site stores your privacy choice and its timestamp in localStorage under techwilla_consent_v2, and may retain a legacy opt-out flag. This storage keeps your choice between visits. The current implementation has no automatic age-based expiry: the choice persists until you change it, clear site data, or a new consent version replaces it. Use Privacy settings to revisit the choice. Clearing site data removes the stored choice and optional analytics remain off until you choose again. Rejecting analytics prevents further collection; it does not automatically erase records already collected or every cookie previously set by Google. Browser settings let you inspect and remove cookies and site storage.
Advertising
Google advertising is disabled in this release. If Google ads are enabled later, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google’s My Ad Center and opt out of participating third-party vendors’ personalized advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page. These external controls are separate from this site’s privacy choices. Any future advertising release will identify the vendors in use and provide the consent controls that apply.
Advertising privacy choices
The footer’s “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link opens this site’s privacy choices. You can reject optional analytics there. When Global Privacy Control is enabled, optional processing remains off and the link opens this policy. This release does not load advertising tags or offer an advertising-consent option.
How long data is kept
Contact messages are kept for 24 months, first-party analytics records for 14 months and activity-log entries for 12 months. Web server access logs are kept for 90 days and error logs for 30 days. These are the periods the site is configured to use; automatic deletion on the live server hasn’t been confirmed yet. The data retention page lists them in one table.
Your requests
To ask for access to your data, or for it to be corrected, deleted or exported, use the contact form and choose Privacy request as the subject.
